Mixed Flock in Heavy Winds
A large mixed flock on Lake Mývatn in NE Iceland gathered at the downwind beach to feed on prey pushed to the shore by wind. Species present include Whooper Swan, Eurasian Wigeon and Red-necked Phalarope.
