Running Sanderling get both feet off the ground
So much action. Sanderling gets control of prey sand crab. Needs to run from other Sanderling.
I couldn't take photographs like this almost 50 years ago when I began my studies of Sanderling, Back then you had 36 images in a roll of film. And there were no computers in cameras. Now I can take 30 frames per second with a camera ( Sony α1) that can keep the focus on a running bird's eyes.
I'm learning details I never knew. How exciting!
